Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough is seeking a Consultant Rheumatologist for a permanent part-time role (0.8FTE) based at Nelson Hospital. The position supports rheumatology services across the Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, with outpatient clinics, outreach and community locations, and collaboration with primary care across the district.

The successful candidate will hold FRACP or an equivalent qualification, be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and have experience

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent recognised by the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Eligible for Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Experience delivering inpatient consultation and outpatient rheumatology services.
• Open to candidates with dual training in General Medicine and Rheumatology.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of rheumatology patients.
• Liaise with general physicians and other medical specialists for inpatient care.
• Conduct outpatient clinics including outreach and community locations.
• Collaborate with primary care (GPs and CNSs) across the district.

Formation
