Job title: ICT Project Manager

Role type: Full time, permanent

Location: Wellington

Salary band & range: BTIS Salary Range C: $130,021 to $150,703 depending on skills and experience

About the Role

Kōrero mō te Tūranga

Join our team leading end-to-end planning, governance, delivery, and risk management across a busy multi-project pipeline. You\'ll manage delivery teams, project plans, and risks & issues using standard Project Management (PM) processes and Agile practices. You\'ll facilitate standups, track work through Azure DevOps, and ensure stakeholder alignment and business readiness.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead projects to ensure objectives, goals, commitments, and agreed benefits are managed.
  • Develop project plans and monitor, track, and report progress.
  • Develop and deliver project reporting to stakeholders and project governance boards.
  • Ensure effective utilisation of project resources and manage business change.
About You

This role offers exposure to different teams, tools, and delivery styles. You bring a flexible mindset and enjoy variety. You are comfortable working to tight timeframes and see constraints as a chance to be creative and resourceful. You\'re confident dabbling in UX/UI, change management, testing, and contributing across the delivery lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, your experience will include:

  • Proven experience managing technology projects using recognised methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of the project lifecycle to support the project life cycle.
  • Effective relationship building skills with excellent communication to keep projects moving.
  • An innovative and proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • A solid understanding of cloud platforms and Software as a Service.

You have a background in IT delivery with strong knowledge of software delivery practices. You are a strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity to achieve the desired outcomes. You bring ICT project management expertise and a collaborative, delivery-focused approach.
