A leading environmental organization is seeking candidates for a field-based role in hydrology and water resource sciences in Invercargill City. The role involves supporting summer monitoring programmes with responsibilities in gauging and site maintenance. Candidates must have attention to detail and a keen interest in hydrological sciences, along with a full driver licence. Compensation is $28.95 per hour for a 37.5-hour week.
This role is a great introduction to the world of hydrology and water resource sciences. The role will be primarily field based, undertaking and supporting the summer monitoring programmes, including our summer gauging and site maintenance, while including some office and desk-based work. Attention to detail, data entry skills, confidence in and around waterways, and a keen interest in hydrological sciences are a must. You will also need a full driver licence and be comfortable around waterways.
