Contact Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of generation projects from planning through delivery in New Zealand, focusing on safety, value, and reliability. You will coordinate engineers, contractors, and operations teams while navigating regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.

You will bring an engineering degree and substantial experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, with proficiency in project planning tools like MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and significant experience leading large-scale projects within infrastructure, utilities, energy or similarly complex environments.
• Experience using project planning and scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Strong programme management capability and mentoring others would be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of generation projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring safety, efficiency and long-term value.
• Coordinate engineers, contractors, operational teams and stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
• Balance schedules, budgets, risks and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships across the portfolio.
