Job summary

OneStaff in Hawke's Bay is seeking a Hydro Excavation Operator for a full-time role. You will join a dedicated crew, operate hydro excavation units to locate underground services, and contribute to safe site operations.

The company offers full training, a clear pathway for progression, and a strong health and safety culture. You will need a Full Class 4 NZ Driver's Licence and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Full Class 4 NZ Driver's Licence required.
• WTR endorsements are a plus.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydro excavation units to locate underground services safely.
• Carry out general site duties including trenching, backfilling and clean-up.
• Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to deliver quality outcomes.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hydro excavation units to safely locate underground services
