Job summary

Stantec in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water team in Hamilton. You will develop water supply, wastewater and stormwater models to support infrastructure planning and project delivery.

A relevant Bachelor's degree with 3 years’ experience is required. Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM and ArcGIS is essential, and experience in data analytics, coding and data visualisation is desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience in hydraulic modelling or water networks.
Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM and ArcGIS is essential.
Experience in wastewater is essential; stormwater experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop water supply, wastewater and stormwater network models to support infrastructure planning and investment decisions.
Plan and manage workload to deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within budget.
Support project managers with planning, coordination and client engagement for successful delivery.
Contribute to the development and presentation of technical reports and client submissions.
Grow network planning and modelling capability by supporting business development and client relationships.
Share knowledge and contribute to the wider modelling community through collaboration and training.
