Job summary

AECOM is offering a Cost Management Intern position in Quantity Surveying for a 12-week paid program from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027. You will work with experienced professionals on pre- and post-contract activities and gain practical insights into cost planning, tendering, reporting, and change control within the built environment.

The role provides real project experience across iconic developments in Australia and New Zealand, with exposure to global practices and senior leaders

Qualifications

• Summer Intern attributes: curious and excited to apply studies with strong communication and teamwork.
• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline; penultimate year.
• Commencement: able to work full-time 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027.
• Working rights: must have full working rights to work in New Zealand.

Job Description

• Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any related discipline.
• Commencement: Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 - 19 February 2027.
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in New Zealand before applying.
