Job summary

AECOM is offering a 12-week paid Summer Internship in Cost Management within the built environment, based in Christchurch. You will work with experienced professionals on pre- and post-contract activities, gaining real project experience from day one.

The program offers exposure to iconic projects across Australia and New Zealand, a dedicated Summer Series with senior leaders, and a pathway to graduate opportunities in a global consultancy.

Job Description
Join AECOM as a Cost Management Intern and gain valuable experience in the field of cost management within the built environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting various projects and learning about both pre- and post-contract activities.

Qualifications



  • Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.

  • Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any related discipline.

  • Commencement: Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 - 19 February 2027.

  • Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in New Zealand before applying.
