Job summary

Orion Health in Christchurch is seeking a Junior Implementation Consultant to join our team and start building technical skills across software configuration, systems integration and customer engagement.

You'll work with experienced consultants on installation, troubleshooting and testing, gain exposure to databases and SQL, and develop your career in health technology with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of experience in a software-focused IT role (e.g., application support, development, testing or systems implementation).
• Relevant qualification in CS/SE/IS or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Basic understanding of SQL, JavaScript or similar technologies.
• Interest in software systems, integration and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration and implementation of Orion Health solutions.
• Support investigations, troubleshooting and testing to ensure solutions work as expected.
• Work with databases, SQL and related technologies to support implementation activities.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers and project teams to deliver customer outcomes.
• Build understanding of healthcare systems, integration technologies and industry standards.
• Engage with customers and communicate technical information effectively.
