Job summary

Electric Kiwi is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to enhance our internal developer platform and reduce friction in building, testing and shipping software. You’ll work hands-on with CI/CD, automation, and AI-enabled tooling to speed delivery and improve developer experience across engineering teams.

You’ll partner with platform engineers to evolve GitLab-driven workflows, measure delivery metrics, and create self-service capabilities that empower teams to move faster with higher

Qualifications

Demonstrated interest in improving developer workflows.
Strong collaboration across teams and disciplines.
Willingness to experiment with AI and automation to improve delivery.

Responsibilities

Evolve the internal developer platform with GitLab at the core.
Identify and remove friction in the developer experience.
Automate workflows across the software delivery lifecycle to improve velocity and reliability.
Use metrics to spot bottlenecks and guide teams to better decisions.
Collaborate with engineers to design practical improvements that boost velocity and quality.
Share learnings via documentation, code reviews and training.
