Job summary

Placements24 seeks a qualified HVAC Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in the Queenstown area.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance across commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and dedicated to high-quality service with a professional approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical controls.
• Ability to read and interpret system diagrams and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license and a commitment to customer service.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, units, and associated components.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC equipment, identifying root causes of problems.
• Service and repair refrigerant circuits, fans, pumps, and control systems.
• Ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely, adhering to environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of parts and supplies in Queenstown.
