Job description

Our client is a privately owned HVAC business that is growing at a rapid pace (always comforting in this economy!). A well organised business who pride themselves on their strong client base, company culture, along with long-term clients who present unique projects – a multi-faceted role!

Working collaborating with a team, analysing and measuring the effectiveness of HVAC in largely commercial environments. You’ll be hands on testing, with an innate ability to provide details reports on your findings.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Test, adjust, balance, and troubleshoot building air conditioning systems
  • Ensure HVAC systems are optimised for thermal comfort and operational efficiency
  • Work collaboratively to meet project specifications and deadlines
  • Produce detailed commissioning reports for clients
  • Support the commissioning of HVAC air and water systems
  • Managing client expectations and that of key stakeholders

WHO AM I AND WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

  • Ideally degree educated (ie: Mechanical Engineering)
  • Proven excellent communication skills, along with technical proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Natural organisation skills, ability to adapt depending on business priorities
  • A clean and full drivers licence
  • Availability to work occasionally outside Christchurch and standard business hours
  • You’ll receive comprehensive training, a stable and secure environment
