Qualifications

  • Trade qualified in HVAC or refrigeration.
  • Possession of NZ Limited Electrical licence.
  • Experience in BMS and HVAC controls preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across university accommodation.
  • Routine servicing and troubleshooting faults.
  • Assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works.

About the role:

Due to the growing workload in Auckland, we currently require an experienced HVAC Technician to join our site-based team based at the University of Auckland Accommodation portfolio.

You will be working as part of a team, comprised of Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and our Building Maintenance crew ensuring our client’s facilities are maintained to a high level.

The workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work but also assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works.

About you:

  • HVAC or refrigeration Trade qualified.

  • NZ Limited Electrical licence.

  • Experience in BMS and HVAC controls preferred.

  • Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad (for job dispatch).

Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver’s license.
