Overview

HVAC Technician – Opportunities in Hawke’s Bay

Are you an experienced HVAC Technician looking for a new challenge and a change of scenery? We have immediate opportunities available in Hawke’s Bay for skilled technicians who are ready to hit the ground running. APPLY NOW and join a team that values your skills!

What you’ll be doing

You’ll bring your expertise to a variety of residential and commercial projects, including:

• Installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Heating and refrigeration testing, plus installation of new systems
• Working from drawings and specifications, setting up reference points
• Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets, cutting, bending, and threading piping
• Installing and repairing compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, gauges, and copper lines
• Filling systems with gas or fluid and checking for leaks
• Test-operating systems, adjusting controls, and reassembling units

What we’re looking for

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC work
• Trade qualifications (preferred, but experience counts too)
• NZ EWRB Limited or EST practicing license (an advantage, not essential)
• Your own tools and reliable transport
• Two recent work references
• 100% commitment to Health & Safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
