Job summary
Tradestaff New Zealand is seeking an experienced HVAC Electrician to work across Wanaka. The role involves installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding while delivering quality workmanship on site.
You will install and service HVAC equipment, read plans and specs, and work safely with other trades. A current NZ electrical registration and practising licence, plus a valid driver licence, are required. Immediate start with weekly pay and potential ongoing work.
Qualifications
- Proven HVAC and electrical experience.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and able to manage workload.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Responsibilities
- Installing HVAC and related electrical systems.
- Servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance.
- Wiring and connecting HVAC equipment.
- Testing systems and identifying performance issues.
- Reading plans, schematics and technical specifications.
- Working with other trades and contractors.
- Adhering to electrical and health and safety requirements.
- Delivering a high standard of workmanship.
