• Manage stock and ordering of housekeeping supplies.
• Collaborate with Facility Manager and wider teams.

We're looking for a full-time Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team in Cromwell and take the lead in ensuring our facilities are clean, welcoming and well cared for.

About the role

This is a practical, hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys bringing out the best in a team.

You'll lead and support our housekeeping team across Golden View Care and Village, as well as Ripponburn Home and Hospital, helping ensure our residents enjoy a clean, safe and comfortable environment every day.

You won't just be checking that jobs are done. You'll be working alongside the team, setting clear expectations, organising the day-to-day workload and looking for ways we can continually improve what we do.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, supporting and motivating the housekeeping team
• Coordinating rosters, daily duties and cleaning schedules
• Making sure the team has the information, equipment and supplies they need
• Supporting the orientation and training of new and existing team members
• Monitoring housekeeping standards and addressing areas requiring improvement
• Ensuring cleaning products, chemicals, PPE and equipment are used safely and correctly
• Managing housekeeping supplies and ensuring stock is ordered when required
• Working closely with the Facility Manager and wider facility teams
• Helping create a positive, respectful and supportive team environment
• Keeping an eye on the details that help make our residents' home feel cared for.

The role is predominantly from Mondays to Fridays, but occasional weekend work might be required.

Who are we looking for?

You may already be leading a housekeeping or cleaning team, or you might be an experienced housekeeper who is ready to take the next step.

More than anything, we're looking for someone who cares about doing things well and knows how to get a team working together.

You'll bring:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar environment
• Experience leading, supervising or supporting a team
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A practical, hands-on approach
• The confidence to set expectations and provide feedback when needed
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• An eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
• A willingness to pitch in and help the team when required.
