Location and Employment

Location: 36-44 Main Street, Franz Josef

Employment Type: Full-time permanent position.

Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.

Wage Rate: $28.00 per hour - $31.00 per hour

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of teams in the Housekeeping department, including making sure team members understand their allocated tasks.
  • Providing supervision, training and guidance to Room Attendants.
  • Checking rooms after completion to make sure service standards are maintained.
  • Cleaning the interior of buildings and the immediate outside areas.
  • Stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen.
  • Any additional tasks reasonably required by the Housekeeping Manager.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a hotel housekeeping department.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
