Job summary

Oceania’s Green Gables Village in Nelson is seeking a casual Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. You will assist with cleaning, laundry, and maintaining residents’ communal and living spaces, ensuring environments are sanitised, safe, and welcoming.

The successful candidate will have experience in housekeeping, knowledge of chemical handling, strong communication, and the ability to work rostered shifts across weekdays and weekends. Right to work in New Zealand is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning position.
• Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teamwork focus.
• A friendly nature, with respect for our residents.
• A passion for ensuring a safe environment.
• Strong eye for detail.
