The University of Waikato invites applications for a full-time Housekeeper at Hillcrest Campus, Hamilton. You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming living environment for residents, upholding high hygiene standards.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with no weekend work. Previous cleaning experience and health and safety knowledge are valued, and you’ll join a supportive team that makes a daily difference.

Join our vibrant team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents of the Hall. You'll help uphold the University's high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring that everyone enjoys a healthy and comfortable living space. Your work will directly contribute to a positive student experience, where safety and well-being are a shared priority and where your efforts make a visible, meaningful difference every day.

The wage for this full-time position ranges from $24.84 to $27.26 per hour, depending on the skills, knowledge, and experience you bring to the role. The hours for this 40hour working week are 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. This position is based at our Hillcrest Campus.
