Job description

We're now hiring a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team, someone who is motivated, outgoing, and experienced Front Office Superstar.

In this part-time role (minimum 20 hours per week), you’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the Front Office and Reservations. As the first point of contact for our guests, your excellent communication skills and warm presence will ensure each guest feels valued from check-in to check-out, and every moment in between.

This is a hands-on position requiring AM and PM shifts. You’ll be a visible and proactive team player at the front desk and in the lobby during key service periods. Our ideal candidate is guest-centric, passionate, and performance-driven, with the ability to tailor each interaction to our guests' individual needs. You'll bring previous experience in a similar hotel environment and a desire to make every stay memorable.

This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager.

What you'll do:

Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism

Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately

Manage reservations, phone/email enquiries and payments

Assist with guest requests and handle feedback positively

Provide support to the Front Office team as needed

Work a flexible rotating roster (AM, PM, weekends, public holidays)

What you bring:

Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel front office or reception

A hospitality diploma is preferred

Knowledge and experience using relevant Accor systems (TARS, Hotel Link, Resaweb) will be beneficial

Familiarity with the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty program would bean advantage

Working knowledge of Opera Cloud (or another property management system) is essential

Knowledge of a hotel reservations flow

Knowledge of hotel front office systems and processes, and the ability to learn new systems and procedures with ease

Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays (and the occasional night audit shift)

A positive, reliable, charismatic, and can-do attitude

Genuine, outgoing, and friendly personality and manner

Strong organisational and time management skills

Service-oriented and an eye for detail

Good communication skills in English, with excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency

Professional appearance and grooming at all times

We are seeking someone who will go the extra mile to provide memorable guest experiences with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and think on their feet to resolve issues and make decisions.

The wage rate for this role is between $27.05 and $27.84 per hour (based on experience).
