Crossing Hurdles seeks a meticulous medical records reviewer in New Zealand to support AI training. The role focuses on evaluating inpatient documentation and FHIR data to ensure accuracy, with emphasis on identifying missing or inconsistent information and ensuring claims match the records.

You will provide actionable feedback to improve AI models and coordinate with the project team, maintaining strict adherence to guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Strong inpatient experience in hospital settings.
• Deep understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear guidelines consistently.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
