Mr Wu Farms 2020 Limited, a well-established and rapidly growing company, is expanding its workforce to keep pace with its swift development. We are now looking for a skilled horticulture technician to join our team.
Assisting in developing and improving planting, fertilization, harvesting, and crop processing techniques to maximize productivity and sustainability.
Identifying harmful pathogens, insects, parasites, fungi, and weeds affecting crops and assisting in implementing effective control measures.
Studying environmental factors that influence the health, growth, and productivity of crops.
Conducting analyses of agricultural produce to ensure and maintain quality standards.
Providing technical advice, training, and support on horticultural technology solutions, including sensors, farm management software, and data analytics.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing crop health monitoring equipment.
Developing, operating, and maintaining advanced horticultural production technologies, such as geospatial systems, automation, and data-driven solutions.
Advising on and supplying agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers and pesticides, for crop management.
Collecting and analyzing data for research and farm management purposes.
Conducting tests and experiments to support horticultural research and improve production techniques.
Assisting Agricultural Scientists and Agronomists in research, production, and the implementation of advanced horticultural technologies, such as precision agriculture solutions.
Advising producers on best farming techniques, management strategies, and production processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Performing other reasonable duties as required by the employer.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (experience gained in the same industry will be considered as meeting the experience requirements)
Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must
