Health NZ Counties Manukau invites applications for a Health Care Assistant to join the Home Haemodialysis team at Manukau Health Park. You will support nurses with day-to-day patient care and coordinate tasks in a busy, patient‑centred environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years HCA experience in NZ, and suitable Level 3 or Level 4 HCA certificates. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential as you build relationships with patients and families.

Formación

• 2+ years HCA experience in New Zealand.
• Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience in New Zealand.
• Or NZ Level 3 Health Care Assistant certificate with 2+ years HCA experience or equivalent (to be assessed) in New Zealand.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RNs with day-to-day patient care in the home haemodialysis setting.
• Provide clinical care under supervision and support established care plans.
• Prioritise tasks and organise care to meet patient needs.
• Build relationships with patients and families and maintain clear, compassionate communication.
