Job summary

Health NZ Counties Manukau invites applications for a Health Care Assistant to join the Home Haemodialysis team based at Manukau Health Park. You will support RNs with routine tasks, provide bedside care, and help maintain patient comfort in a busy haemodialysis setting.

We seek candidates with 2+ years NZ HCA experience, a Level 4 or Level 3 HCA certificate, and excellent communication skills. The role is full-time, on-site with rostered shifts, and offers ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Health Care Assistant experience in New Zealand.
• Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience in NZ or NZ Level 3 certificate with 2+ years HCA experience in NZ, or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with day-to-day tasks and patient care.
• Provide clinical care to patients in the Home Haemodialysis unit.
