Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is expanding its Hospital in the Home (HiTH) service in Whangarei. A Registered Nurse will deliver patient-centred acute nursing interventions in patients’ homes across a 7-day roster from 8:00 to 16:30, with no night shifts, and opportunities for career development.

Permanent positions are available as either part-time or full-time roles, supported by a collaborative team and flexible rostering to suit patient and staff needs.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• NZ nursing registration and APC are required.
• Experience in acute care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care in patients' homes.
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care.
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centred interventions across the home setting.
