About the Role and Firm

Are you a motivated BAS Accountant looking to work with a highly respected and globally connected firm? My client is growing and on the lookout for an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join their collaborative team!

This is a varied and engaging role where you’ll work closely with approachable Directors and a broad portfolio of clients, from ambitious start-ups to established enterprises. You'll have exposure to high-level advisory work and the opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships and deliver end-to-end compliance work
  • Review and support work prepared by intermediate and junior staff
  • Provide advisory services including tax planning, structuring, and business improvement
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and contribute to internal development projects
What You’ll Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in BAS within a New Zealand CA environment
  • CA qualified or working towards
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence reviewing and mentoring others within a team setting
  • Proficiency with Xero and other modern accounting software
