Job summary

PlaceMakers Christchurch in Hawke's Bay is seeking a permanent full-time delivery driver to join our Hastings branch. You will deliver orders to customers using modern handheld tech, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional service.

Based in Havelock North, this role offers 42.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri and rostered Saturdays) and room to grow within the Fletcher Building Group. A full, clean NZ Class 2 or 4 licence and HIAB crane experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a full, clean NZ Class 2 or 4 driver’s licence.
• HIAB crane operation experience is essential.
• Excellent people skills and customer service mindset.
• Physically fit for manual handling and lifting.
• Strong health & safety awareness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers across the region.
• Support Hastings branch with deliveries around Hawke’s Bay.
• Full-time driving with crane access as required.
• Safely deliver orders while maintaining exceptional service.
• Assist in-store during busy periods when needed.
