Job description

Class2 or Class4 Truck Driver with Hi‑Ab Ticket
Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour
Location: Matamata

Tradestaff is on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Class2 or Class4 truck driver with a current Hi‑Ab ticket – this is non-negotiable.

You'll be delivering cement-based construction products from our Matamata-based client to building sites and trade customers across the Waikato.

This is not just a driving role – your ability to confidently and safely operate a Hi‑Ab crane is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver concrete, mortar, screed and other cementitious products
  • Operate a Hi‑Ab crane to offload materials at job sites
  • Keep the truck and equipment tidy and in good condition
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately
  • Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with site staff and clients
What You Need to Bring
  • Current Class2 or Class4 NZ Driver Licence
  • Hi‑Ab ticket – this is essential, not optional
  • A strong focus on safety and proven experience with Hi‑Ab operation
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Punctual, dependable, and well-presented
