Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) is seeking Herd Test Technicians to deliver and install Herd Testing equipment in dairy sheds across Balclutha/Central Otago. The role runs for about 8 months during the seasonal peak and requires you to return the next day to collect samples and equipment.

The position suits outdoors lovers with flexible hours, driving a Class 1 vehicle, and good communication skills. LIC offers extra leave and a supportive team environment.

About The Role

Our Herd Test Technicians use LIC vehicles to deliver and install Herd Testing equipment in dairy sheds throughout the region. They then return the following day to collect the completed samples and equipment. This is a fast-paced role which requires excellent time management skills and physical strength as handling heavy equipment is a must. You will also be required to learn Herd Test Assist, this part of the role you will work directly with the customer to deliver the Herd Sest Service

Working in Balclutha/Central Otago region, this is a short-term role to cover the seasonal peak for around 8 months. The role will suit individuals who love being outdoors and have flexibility with their working hours.
