At Alta Safety, we're specialists in fall protection and height safety systems across New Zealand. We're expanding our capabilities with the launch of a new, purpose-built Height Safety Audit service to complement our recertification and retrofit business.

About the Job

You’ll be responsible for conducting thorough audits, preparing detailed site reports including layout plans, liaising with clients, and supporting the development of robust safety systems. Working closely with our internal teams, your role will help shape and maintain the highest safety standards in the industry.

About You

You’ll bring hands-on height safety experience, strong technical understanding, and a client-first mindset. You thrive both on-site and in planning stages, balancing safety, compliance, and excellent customer service.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in height safety system installation
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in height safety recertification
• At least 5 years’ practical experience using rope and harness-based equipment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Proactive and adaptable attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
• Willingness to travel across NZ, including overnight stays
• Play a pivotal role in a new service offering
• Work on meaningful, safety-critical projects across NZ
