Fulton Hogan Limited is seeking a Heavy Haulage Department Manager in Auckland to lead a technically complex operation. You will plan and deliver heavy transport solutions for oversized loads, drive safety and compliance, and manage performances across the team to keep major projects moving.
You will bring a minimum of 5 years in transport with strong heavy haulage experience, plus leadership capabilities to coach crews and deliver reliable outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
We’re looking for a Heavy Haulage Department Manager to lead our Auckland heavy haulage operation. In this role, you’ll take charge of a technically complex department that plans and delivers heavy haulage solutions for oversized, overweight and specialised loads across the region and beyond.
You’ll lead the safe, compliant and efficient movement of plant, equipment and project cargo, while driving strong operational performance, people leadership and customer outcomes. This is a role for someone who knows the technical detail, can lead from the front, and thrives when the work is serious and the standards are high.
Our Auckland heavy haulage team delivers specialised transport solutions that keep major infrastructure, construction and maintenance work moving. From shifting oversized plant and equipment to coordinating complex heavy transport movements, this team handles work that takes planning, precision and real technical know‑how. It’s serious work, but the team is flat, friendly and low ego. Ideas matter here, and good work gets noticed.
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is about more than what we deliver. It’s how we show up, how we back each other and how we keep moving forward. We take the work seriously, not ourselves. That means high expectations, honest conversations and a team environment where you’re trusted to lead, improve and make a real impact.
All successful candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen prior to employment.
