Job description

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Residential construction company looking for a heavy equipment operator. Job tasks include all site work necessary for residential home builds and additions, including but not limited to foundation excavation, utilities installation, backfill, rough/finish grading, and driveway/walkways preparation.

Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction.
  • Must be able to operate excavator, bulldozer, loader, skid-steer, and various attachments.
  • Must be able to operate excavators up to 40-ton class.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and construction drawings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Safe work habits.
  • OSHA 10 required.
  • CDL License is a benefit, but not mandatory.
Pay & Benefits:
  • $30-$40/hr. depending on experience

The following additional minimum requirements must be met to be considered for a position:
  • Valid MA Driver’s license with clean record (Class A or B Commercial license a plus but not required).
  • DOT Certificate (acquired within one month after date of hire).
  • MA Hoisting License 2A/1C.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
