We are experiencing explosive growth and seeking hardworking, motivated, and skilled individuals to join our dedicated teams across our expanding geographic footprint. As a Junior Mechanic, you will apply your mechanical knowledge and hands-on expertise to repair and maintain drill equipment, hoe-rams, skid steers, and other machinery in a shop environment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Replacing and repairing broken equipment
  2. Performing preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment
  3. Troubleshooting mechanical systems such as motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
  4. Following all safety policies and procedures
  5. Performing field services and repairs
  6. Coordinating with the Equipment Manager on parts and supplies
  7. Using and operating hand and power tools safely
  8. Proactively identifying safety hazards
  9. Completing maintenance records accurately
  10. Participating in team meetings
  11. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Owning or willingness to invest in hand tools up to 1 5/8 inches
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to pass ATF screenings
  • Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs., with stooping and bending 30-40% of the time

About You

This is an entry-level mechanic position. Ideal candidates are high school or technical school graduates with a two-year technical degree. ASE certification is highly desirable, with one or more years of experience as a service technician. You should be a self-starter capable of working independently and possess skills in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, diesel motors, welding, electrical systems, and PLCs.
