Job summary

Terra Industrial New Zealand Limited is seeking a qualified/heavy diesel technician to join our workshop. You will fault find, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service and rebuild Cat equipment, while planning your day to maximise efficiencies and manage your workload.

You’ll operate with a supportive team led by a Leading Hand and Service Manager, within a positive, development-focused environment. We offer a competitive hourly rate with overtime, tool allowance and a range of benefits including

Qualifications

• NZ-recognised Heavy Diesel qualification OR 5+ years experience as a heavy diesel technician for a dealership.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Drivers license essential.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• A motivated, proactive and self managing approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service and rebuild Cat equipment.
• Plan daily work to ensure maximum efficiencies and manage workload.
• Complete all associated admin and paperwork.
• Be supported by Leading Hand and Service Manager and work within a collaborative team.
