Job summary

Noventis Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic in New Zealand with strong agricultural machinery experience. You will diagnose faults, rebuild engines, and perform preventative maintenance to keep farming equipment running in demanding environments.

You will work independently, manage daily workload, and communicate clearly while servicing tractors, harvesters, sprayers, loaders, balers and other farm machinery, with a strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent).
• Strong agricultural machinery experience.
• Confident with diagnostics and electrical fault-finding.
• Able to work independently and manage daily workload.
• Good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and keep farming machinery running in high-pressure environments.
• Perform engine rebuilds, welding and fabrication when needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and field service work on tractors, harvesters, sprayers, loaders and balers.
• Diagnose hydraulics, transmissions and driveline issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain safe working practices and clear communication with teams.
