Job summary

Qube Logistics NZ in Auckland is seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to service trucks, container handlers and plant machinery at our Neilson depot. This is a fulltime permanent role with Mon–Fri 7am–5pm plus Sat 7am–12pm and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

You will diagnose faults in diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, repair parts, conduct servicing, maintain records, and support apprentices and drivers.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 4 qualification in Heavy Automotive or equivalent.
• At least 3 years relevant diesel mechanic experience with heavy machinery and hydraulics.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, service and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Welding qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Full, clean NZ licence.
• Safe, reliable, team‑focused approach.
• Versatility across depot worksites.

Responsibilities
