Job summary

About the role

Workingfor the IOC (Integrated Operations Centre) involves supporting all areas of thehospital and responding to areas of greater need. This may involve working onthe wards, offering variance response at the delegation of the DNM's (DutyNurse Managers) or providing discharge facilitation, supporting patients at theend of their hospital stay moving down to the transit lounge. Ifyou are allocated to the wards, your day begins with a handover from the outgoing team where you will receive direction and delegation from theregistered nurses. You will give a warm welcome to patients, making themfeel comfortable and supported. You'll assist with personal cares, bathing,dressing, and mobility, fluid & nutrition, ensuringtheir safety and well-being throughout the shift. You'll work closely with thenursing team, monitoring patient conditions, and giving feedback to the primarynurse, this will include the use of formaldocumentation that requires to be completed. You'll provide emotionalsupport to patients and families, creating a compassionate and positiveenvironment
