You will assist clinical staff in providing high-quality patient care, with responsibilities including clinical observations and patient assistance. Healthcare Assistant– Surgical Ward, London: The Wellington Hospital (NW8 9LE)
Full time: Monday – Sunday 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: rotation of long days, nights & weekends
Permanent contract. Salary: Competitive dependent on experience plus 9% shift allowance
We are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant in our General Surgical ward based @ The Wellington Hospital - London.
The unit provides care for pre and post-operative patients for a full range of specialties: plastics and breast surgeries, colo-rectal, gynaecology, bariatric, ENT, upper GI, gynaecology, urology, vascular & general surgery.
You will be responsible for providing assistance to clinical staff and will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and maintain the agreed standards of care under the supervision of the nursing team. You will carry out clinical observations and assist staff and patients to deliver high levels of patient care, demonstrating excellent customer care skills.
