BNZ in Wellington offers a hybrid role for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner. You will work with leaders to provide practical HSW guidance, support incident investigations, manage risks, and drive safer practices across BNZ.

A formal HSW qualification is essential, with NZ legislation knowledge and experience in injury management and return-to-work processes. You will coach HSW committees, develop policies, and contribute to projects to raise HSW maturity, leveraging data to identify

Qualificações

• Strong HSW knowledge and NZ legislation understanding.
• Experience in risk assessment and identifying controls.
• Experience leading incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Ability to develop clear HSW policies and guidance.
• Experience with ACC Accredited Employer Programme (AEP) and audits.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and coaching across organisation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide practical HSW advice and support to leaders and teams.
• Develop and support HSW Champions and People Leaders to build capability.
• Support incident investigations and identify underlying causes and improvements.
• Guide injury management and safe/ sustainable return to work.
• Identify, assess and manage HSW risks including critical risks.
• Coach HSW committees to be effective and outcomes-focused.
• Develop and improve HSW policies, procedures and guidance.
• Contribute to projects to lift HSW maturity across BNZ.
• Utilise HSW data to identify opportunities for improvement.
