Watercare Services Limited invites applications for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor. The role focuses on practical guidance to promote positive HSW across our projects and sites, building strong relationships with teams and leaders.

The successful candidate will coach teams, conduct site inspections and risk assessments, and lead investigations to drive continuous HSW improvement. Based in Auckland with a flexible/hybrid work model, the role emphasizes safety leadership, compliance

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence managers.
• Level 4 workplace HSE qualification or higher is required.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and good practice.
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience delivering HSW support in complex operational environments; knowledge of critical risk management is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Engage with team leaders and on-site workers to build relationships and provide HSW coaching.
• Support and conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Facilitate incident and near-miss investigations, lead learning teams, and implement resulting actions.
• Provide practical guidance and technical support to promote positive HSW outcomes across the business.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement changes to enable continuous HSW improvement.
