Job summary

DOC is seeking a Health Safety and Security Systems Assurance Advisor to strengthen its integrated health, safety and security management systems across New Zealand. You will support assurance activities, reporting and performance monitoring while partnering with leaders, investigators and stakeholders across DOC.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety administration, coordination, systems support or a similar role.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data and reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Experience supporting business systems, databases or reporting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• A willingness to build specialist knowledge in health, safety and security systems and assurance.
• Full NZ drivers licence and ability to travel for work as required.
