Job summary

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Tauranga Hospital, seeks a Health Care Assistant in the Perioperative department. The permanent part-time role is 0.9FTE (36 hours/week) based at Tauranga Hospital, with a supportive nursing team and opportunities to grow.

The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent communication, a caring nature and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A Health Care Assistant certificate (Level 3 or 4 preferred) is advantageous.

We currently have a permanent part-time position available for a Health Care Assistant in the Perioperative department at Tauranga Hospital.

About you

The successful applicant will:

• Have a caring nature with a good work ethic
• Current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service.
• Have a certificate in Health Care Assistance, Level 3 or 4 is preferred
