About the role
This role will lead health and safety across the multiple complex sites, reporting to the Regional Health and Safety Manager. You will have direct reports and will be responsible for coaching and developing others, strengthening systems and capability and guiding leaders to embed safety into every decision.

The role combines strategic leadership with practical delivery, ensuring proactive risk management and the uplift of health and safety performance in a complex, high-risk environment.

Duties

  • Provide trusted leadership, coaching and hands-on guidance to site leaders.
  • Build capability across your direct team
  • Lead risk management, investigations and proactive hazard reduction programmes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through system development, performance analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate regionally to share best practice and align safety programmes.

Skills and experience
To be successful, you will bring senior-level health and safety expertise with proven experience in complex, industrial environments. You will be confident engaging at executive level, while also capable of developing others and ensuring systems are practical and effective.

  • Relevant Health and Safety qualification.
  • Strong manufacturing or industrial health and safety leadership.
  • Contractor management capability.
  • Experience leading teams and coaching others to uplift capability.
  • Ability to engage senior leaders, influence culture and deliver practical outcomes.
