Job summary

T&G Global Limited in Auckland is seeking a Head of Software Engineering & Integration to lead engineering, integration and API strategy across the enterprise, leveraging SAP S/4HANA. This senior role owns end-to-end software delivery, sets engineering standards, and partners with CIO, architecture and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

A proven track record in large-scale software programs and enterprise integrations is required.

Qualifications

Proven leadership of software engineering teams delivering technology at scale.
Strong enterprise integration and API experience.
Experience defining and executing engineering strategy and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Define software engineering and integration strategy and roadmap for the organisation.
Lead development of custom software and digital applications.
Establish modern engineering practices across DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and secure coding.
Own enterprise integration and API strategy, platforms and governance.
Establish reusable integration and API patterns that scale across the organisation.
Shape solution architecture in partnership with Enterprise Architecture.
Lead delivery, prioritisation, backlog management and release planning.
Improve engineering quality, reliability, observability and operational resilience.
Embed security-by-design across software and integration capability.
Build relationships with technology partners and engineering providers.
Develop engineering capability and a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
