Are you a visionary academic leader ready to shape the future of arts and humanities in Aotearoa New Zealand?

The University of Waikato is looking for an exceptional Head of School to join our Te Kura Toi | School of Arts. This is a unique opportunity to provide leadership for a dynamic school that embraces creativity, diversity, and indigenous knowledge.

You'll be a key part of the leadership team, working directly with the Pro Vice-Chancellor to lead the school's strategic and operational plans. You'll be responsible for business and academic leadership, staff and resource management, and implementing growth strategies. You'll also continue to teach and conduct research, modelling the academic excellence the school is known for.

We are looking for someone with a PhD and a proven record of excellence in teaching and research. You must have demonstrated experience in academic leadership and managing people and budgets in a complex environment.
