Overview

We are seeking a Head of Operations to lead our clients end-to-end operational strategy, a fast-growing hardware robotics company. This role will oversee supply chain management, shipping & logistics, manufacturing & production processes, supplier agreements & contracts, organisationalprocesses & frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Supply Chain & Logistics: Develop and manage supply chain strategies, ensuring reliable sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
• Manufacturing & Production: Oversee manufacturing and assembly operations, working with contract manufacturers and in-house teams to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: Establish and negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality sourcing.
• Process & OrganisationalFrameworks: Implement scalable processes to enhance operational efficiency, quality control, and compliance.
• Customer Support & Experience: Build and oversee customer experience teams to provide exceptional post-sale support.
• Operational Scalability: Develop systems that enable the company to scale efficiently, balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, and product teams to align operations with company goals.

Experience you would bring

• 8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain (including international experience), logistics, or manufacturing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong background in hardware production, robotics, or consumer electronics.
• Proven experience managing global supply chains, contract manufacturers, and supplier agreements.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational scalability.
• Experience optimisingshipping and logistics for hardware products.
• Ability to build and scale customer experience and support teams.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong process-driven mindset with a track record of improving operational efficiency.
