Job summary

KingsWay School in Auckland’s Hibiscus Coast invites applications for a permanent full-time Head of Learning Area in the Middle School (Years 7-10), starting 28 January 2027. Based on our Senior Campus, this 2SU role leads pedagogy and coordination within a Christian community of learning.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full time Head of Learning Area in our Middle School (Years 7-10), based on our Senior Campus starting 28 January 2027.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2,000 students. About the job

Key responsibilities of this 2SU role include:

• Pedagogical and teacher practice oversight (assessment, planning, student data, etc.)
• Ensure ongoing collaboration across teams
• Pastoral care for staff and students in team, incl. L2 discipline
• Grow leadership capability within the team
• Embed the KingsWay Collaboration Framework
• Create an environment where student and staff strengths can flourish
• Champion the language, vision, and values of KingsWay School
