Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a Senior Operational Leader to take ownership of a major Auckland infrastructure and environmental services operation. You will lead a ~35-person team and multiple contractors, driving safety, efficiency, environmental stewardship and strong financial results.

You will report to regional leadership and collaborate with engineering, environment, health & safety, finance, maintenance and community teams to deliver outstanding community outcomes and sustained operational

Qualifications

Proven experience leading large operational teams in complex asset environments.
Ability to deliver safety, operational, financial and people outcomes.
Experience managing budgets, contractors and capital projects.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of ~35 employees and multiple contractors to deliver operational excellence.
Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance.
Collaborate with engineering, environmental management, health and safety, finance and maintenance teams to achieve outcomes.
Influence strategic decisions and stakeholders to support community and regulatory requirements.
