The successful applicant will teach biology across NCEA and CIE pathways, while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department. As head of biology, you will play a key role in maintaining high academic standards and supporting both student and staff wellbeing.

What we’re looking for

• A teaching degree (minimum bachelor’s) with current registration from the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand

• Effective communication skills with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community
