Burnside High School in Christchurch seeks a Head of Dance to lead the Dance programme. This part-time role (11 hours per week) carries a Management Unit and a Middle Management Allowance.

You will provide strategic leadership of the Dance curriculum, assessment, and ongoing development of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will mentor colleagues, foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, and ensure every student is supported to achieve their best.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Dance programme
• Strong curriculum knowledge and assessment experience
• Ability to mentor staff and build collaborative teams
• Commitment to culturally responsive teaching and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
